    62. James Marion4Meadows (Daniel3, Isham2, Daniel1), was born 23 December 1813, Greene County, Georgia, died 12 September 1901, aged 87, Lisbon, Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. He married 7 November 1839, Coweta County, Georgia, Clarisse Hannah Alexander, born 20 September 1823, Greene County, Georgia,376 died 25 October 1913, aged 90, Lisbon, Louisiana.377 She was the daughter of Nathaniel G. Alexander and Mary Mapp. James and Clarisse Meadows are buried in Lisbon Cemetery, Lisbon, Claiborne Parish, Louisiana.378
    James M. Meadows, his wife, Clarisse, and his brother, Samuel Meadows, lived with Daniel and Ann Meadows when the 1840 census was taken in Coweta County, Georgia.379 James M. Meadows paid taxes in Coweta County, in 1845, in District 2, Lot 215, 130 acres, 3 slaves. James M. Meadows lived in Coweta County, in 1850.380
    John Goodman sold land in District 2 of Coweta County, to James M. Meadows in 1844.381 William H. Daniel sold land to James M. Meadows in Coweta County, in 1852.382 James M. Meadows sold land to William S. Alexander in Coweta County, in 1857.383 James M. Meadows sold land to David J. Meriwether in 1871 in Coweta County.384 Andrew C. and Florida Fowler, et al, sold land to James M. Meadows in Coweta County, 15 February 1879.385
