18. i. Martha Evelyn Downs, born 19 February 1829, DeKalb County, Georgia, died 7 September 1916, Comanche County, Texas, married 30 November 1848, Tallapoosa County, Alabama, to Robert Turman Allgood,84 born 5 April 1822, Walton County, Georgia, died 30 September 1884, Summerfield, Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. They are both buried in Summerfield Cemetery.85 They lived in Tallapoosa County, Alabama, in 1850, 1860, and 1870, and in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana, in 1880. Martha Allgood lived in Claiborne Parish, in 1900, and Comanche County, Texas, in 1910.86
19. ii. William Marion Downs, born 3 February 1831, DeKalb County, Georgia, died 8 March 1869, Tallapoosa County, Alabama, married 1851, Tallapoosa County, to Sarah Duke, born circa 1829. W. M. Downs lived in Tallapoosa County, in 1860; he was a blacksmith. His widow, Sarah Downs, lived in St. Clair County, Alabama, in 1870, next door to Wiley Downs.87
20. iii. Sarah Ann Elizabeth “Betty” Downs, born 5 February 1833, DeKalb County, Georgia, died 30 April 1903, Summerfield, Claiborne Parish, Louisiana, married 1856, Tallapoosa County, Alabama, to Thomas Burton Kimbrough, born circa 1833, died after 1920, Summerfield, Claiborne Parish.88
21. iv. Richmond Francis Downs, born 3 January 1835, Meriwether County, Georgia, died 8 June 1863 in the Confederate Army, married 1855, Tallapoosa County, Alabama, Jane Radford.
